Quantitative Easing, a term that is becoming more frequent in our everyday vocabulary as the  economic purfication continues across the globe; - the financial situation in Ireland is coming to a head with the question being asked ‘which EU country next’? It is simply not a question of if but when! On the other side of the pond, the US is gearing up for another round of money printing, otherwise known as quantitative easing, and as we know when America sneezes the world, especially the UK – where I am based, catches it cold! As such one should take the time to understand what QE means  and  how it effects us as paying tax members.

In the meantime enjoy the video whilst appreciating the seriousness of the consequences quantitative easing brings to not only our global economy but our national and personal economy. And if you don’t know what I am talking about I am referring to stagflation and hyperinflation!!  Something I touch upon in my blog post ‘When Money Dies’ and ‘When Is Our Economy Going to Get Better?’.

In addition to the above there is currently a currency trade war going on between the USA and China. This is important to know because as our global and financial economies are co-dependent on each other, so whatever goes on out there ultimately effects the cash in our pockets; which is why it is good to keep up-to-date of the international fiscal news - Money Week is a great resource to do this.
