Do you know the difference between financial security, financial freedom and financial independence? Interestingly enough, not many people do! And if I were to ask a number of individuals from mainstream society, which of the three would they want for themselves most would choose financial security, as it is what they understand most. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but neither is it a great thing because who or what exactly is responsible for providing that (financial) security?

It is the dawning of a new day, and the new World Cup winner has been exalted to the world: Espana! Congratulations to them, for not only are they World champions but European champions; quite an accomplishment by any means!

I mention this because many times when we watch athletes and performers we forget about the ‘business’ aspect of their field. FIFA is the governing body of football but it is also a business; the same as the Olympics, which is why countries clamour to be representatives of these types of Games.  They generate business for the host country, via tourism, construction marketing, and other industries.  Without the element of ‘business’ there is no real income, no revenue, no money, just ‘show’ and to ‘show’ cost money.

What is Internet Marketing?

Internet marketing or online marketing, as it is otherwise known, is big business and is becoming an important part of most, if not all, businesses in order to raise the profile of a brand as well as increase sales. This is irrelevant of whether a business is done completely online, partly online, or completely offline.

 Essentially, internet marketing is using the Internet to do one or more of the following:

• Raise the brand  and profile of a company, thus attract more/new customers
• Communicate a company’s message about itself, its products, or its services online.

Most people, if given the option would love to live their life by design.  A life where you are your own boss; where you can make a living doing what you love;  and creating a residual and/or passive income from anywhere in the world!  Making this sort of dream a reality, however, takes time, a lot of work, growth and more importantly vision and patience!
